The Huidu A5 is a dual mode: synchronous and asynchronous player box, synchronous operation covers two types of scenarios:
(1)HDMI External Video Synchronization Real time synchronization of PC or set top box display on a single unit.
(2)Synchronization of A5 units over a LAN multi screen synchronized display or playback.
一. Real time HDMI video synchronization synchronizing an external video source on a single unit:
(1)Hardware Wiring:
①Computer or Player or Set top Box HDMI Output to Huidu A5 HDMI IN.
②A5 Ethernet port connects to R712 receiving card to drive the LED screen.
③For audio synchronization synchronize via the HDMI audio source, or output audio to speakers using the A5 of 3.5mm audio port.
(2)HDSet Software Setup Steps:
①Connect the A5 via Ethernet or Wi-Fi use HDSet to search for and select the device.
②Top menu Settings to Playback Mode.
③Playback mode selection Synchronous First, Prioritizes the live HDMI input, automatically switches to offline content if the HDMI connection is lost.
④Resolution Matching align the HDMI input resolution as closely as possible with the screen’s resolution width and height, and enable image scaling.
⑤Click OK to send the parameters, the screen will synchronize in real time with the HDMI video source image.

二. LAN-based program synchronization for multiple HD A5 units multiple screens playing the same program in sync:
For applications such as light pole displays, chain store advertising screens, and multi screen synchronized playback, each A5 unit independently drives a single screen, ensuring perfect visual synchronization.
①All A5 models are standardized as HD A5 and share the same firmware version.
②All LED screen specifications including resolution, refresh rate, and module parameters are identical.
③All devices play the exact same playlist, program duration, and special effects.
④All connections should be made to the same LAN switch direct cable connection, cross routing is prohibited.
(1)Hardware Networking:
①Connect the Ethernet port of each A5 unit to a Gigabit switch, they are on the same LAN.
②No manual IP configuration required, the A5 automatically identifies device IDs on the LAN.

(1)HDSet Synchronization Parameter Configuration:
①Select all A5 devices to Settings to Time Settings.
②Time correction selection Synchronize the computer synchronize computer time.
③Upon issuance, the system time of all devices is synchronized at the millisecond level.
(2)Enable multi machine synchronization group:
①Menu Settings to Sync settings.
②The software automatically scans the local area network for all online A5 devices.
③Select all devices requiring synchronization and set the Sync Mode to NTP Network Synchronization for all of them.
④Click Sync Time to synchronize the clocks, then click Set to save the synchronization group.

三. HDMI Cascading Video Wall Synchronization Not supported by A5, explanation of alternative solutions:
The HD A5 lacks an HDMI output port for cascading, so it cannot be used to daisy chain HDMI connections to form a large, unified screen like the A6L,

四. Troubleshooting Common Synchronization Issues:
(1)Image desynchronization and misalignment:
①Verify that all screen resolutions and refresh rate settings are identical.
②Resynchronize the computer time and issue synchronization group parameters.
Replace Gigabit Ethernet cables and switches, and avoid using wireless WiFi for synchronized networking.
(2)HDMI Syncs but No Image:
①Switch the playback mode to Synchronous First.
②Confirm that the HDMI signal source output is functioning correctly and that the cable meets the HDMI 2.0 standard or higher.
(3)Playback speeds vary across multiple devices:
①Upgrade the firmware of all devices to the same version.
②Do not add variable dynamic special effects to the program, standardize the video frame rate to 25, 30, or 60 fps.
