How To Quote Prices For LED Display Screens

Calculation formula: Unit price (yuan/m²) × Screen area (m²) = Basic screen price

Contents included: Typically only includes the material costs of the screen itself, such as LED modules, driver ICs, power supply, and module masks.

An LED display screen includes the following categories of items:

1)The screen cabinet : LED modules, power supply, kits, cables, etc.

2)Control system: Number of sending cards and receiving cards.

3)Video Processing: Video processor brand and model –Novastar, HuiDu, Colorlight,Synchronous and asynchronous.

4)Structural power: Steel structure/frame, power distribution cabinets, fiber optics, etc.

5)Other services : playback software, installation and debugging, Software licensing fees for other features,content creation services, technical training,transportation, and warranty.

Among them,in typical pricing based on square meters, the following categories are usually included:

1)The screen cabinet; 2)Control system(receiving card)

In typical pricing based on square meters, The following categories are usually not included:

3)Video Processing; 4)Structural power(Customers can request these products from suppliers based on their specific needs).

5)Other services (We can provide playback software installation packages, screen calibration services, and warranty and after-sales free services).

How can we use the price per square meter of LED display screens to make project decisions?

1.Use square meter pricing for quick supplier screening.

Define your specific requirements (e.g., outdoor P4 LED screen, 50㎡ area, IP65 waterproof rating), collect per-square-meter price quotes and corresponding standard configuration lists from several suppliers, and conduct an initial screening.

2.Mandatory Requirement for a Detailed Price Breakdown:

For the 2-3 shortlisted potential suppliers, it must be clearly stated: “Please provide us with a complete, detailed price breakdown for the project, based on your standard configuration of XX RMB/m².”

This list must separately specify the brand, model, quantity, and unit price for all “excluded items,” including but not limited to the control system, video processing, steel structure, and installation and commissioning.
